Man, I Wish I Went to Mule-enburg

I don’t know if you know this about me, but by noon on Fridays my jokes are at the apex of their sucking which is precisely where this BOI’s title comes into play. I know, I know, it’s astounding that they could even become this bad considering how terrible they are on Monday mornings which is when I’m at my funniest, but, you know, life is full of surprises.

Glad that’s out of the way. NOW: are you looking for party shoes to take you into the weekend and then out of the weekend then into the next one and so forth?

Well, The Outnet just released a pretty extensive drop from last Fall’s selection of Stella McCartney and featured on site is this one pair of faux-croc, non-leather white rubber platform mule pumps that also feature a pink ankle strap. It’s a mouthful, I know, but they’re pretty entertaining to look at, which, I would imagine, would also make them sufficiently fun to dance in – and I’m siding with Rick Owens on the human experience vis-a-vis dancing, which also makes the shoes a moral obligation to nurture.

Down from their original $980, they’re currently running (not quickly though, that is a pretty steep platform – ba da bum, chhh! – told you, Fridays are hard) for a still not so cheap, but definitely better, $324. You know I’m going to try and cost-per-wear the shit out of them for you/me/us but I guess in the spirit of saving everyone time I’ll just ask: you in?

Leandra, buy those damn pumps! The other day I was also perusing the Stella McCartney selection on The Outnet. In my own tale of Moda Operandi’s series “the one that got away” Since last season I’ve always wanted the black and white croc-effect faux leather pumps. Tommy Ton captured the best street-style moment of them in Paris during fashion week, which only made me want them more. I stepped away from my computer for a moment because I assumed that they would be there when I returned. I was wrong, anxiously refreshing the page THEY WERE GONE! Biggest fucking mistake of my life.
