Allow me to refresh your memory with a song that gets stuck in my head no less than every other month and I couldn’t tell you why, other than the fact that this song was the intro to my favorite show for at least two years growing up:

She was working in a bridal shop in Flushing, Queens
‘Til her boyfriend kicked her out in one of those crushing scenes.
What was she to do? Where was she to go? She was out on her fanny…
So over the bridge from Flushing to the Sheffield’s door —
She was there to sell makeup but father saw more.
She had style! She had flair! She was there! There’s how she become The Nanny!

The song goes on but hold up: she legit DID HAVE STYLE. Not that we questioned it then but to observe it now is quite the thing. She wore Moschino, Todd Oldham, Christian Lacroix and the list goes on, so thank blog there’s an Instagram account that exists to document all of her outfits: @WhatFranWore
