Summer Office Apropos is back and happier than ever. If you like that joke, you have MR’s Managing Editor Nora to thank, but while we’re having fun with words, I’ll add a garnish of my own: Lately I’ve been thinking about Office Apropos as a chocolate fountain that never runs out of chocolate. Not only does it overflow with ideas, but it also sweetens the deal of your already-existing wardrobe in a very unique way. Showing you the clothes we actually wear every day is a live demonstration of what happens when personal style intertwines with the functional aspects of being a person in the world — i.e. a nightgown paired with shoes that can actually commute, athleisure at its finest, a skirt that sports some artistic wrinkles courtesy of desk-sitting and satin scrunchies that double as bracelets.
Putting a magnifying glass up to this aspect of fashion and what it really means to get dressed is one of my favorite things Man Repeller does, because the pleasure of clicking through an Apropos slideshow is accompanied by the distinct joy of oh, I can do that! So give it a click, and do, do, do.
