All t-shirts should do something; that’s what I’ve gathered while watching the t-shirt shift from banal solid to feeble graphic.
Some should give advice, see: this Acne tank, others should say funny things that border–just border–on ironic, see: this gem from American Apparel and perhaps most prominently, a slew should come with a healthy dose of self deprecation, sitting front row center. The one in question hails from the UK by way of what is perhaps the most underrated collaboration of the season: Ashish x Topshop.
Eighty important dollars to spend, me thinks. If only because “I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?” just won its highly anticipated second wind.
