      I just can’t help ask the inevitable and feel really stupid even bringing it up. Are we supposed to be trusting Thompson as a reliable narr?

        Similar questions bugged me in the beginning, then I decided to just let him draw me into his peculiar world – it is worth the ride :)
        After reading the book, you might want to watch the “Gonzo” documentary, it provides answers to many questions!
