Sorry I tricked you with that screen shot. The play button isn’t actually a play button.

Do you forgive me?

No?

How about now?

Please?

Okay! Moving on.

Moda Operandi recently wrapped the first of a series titled The One That Got Away about the clothing that could have been and as fate would have it, the team asked me to get involved with the video a couple weeks ago while we were all pretending to be important in Paris but getting lost on both sides of the river. The teaser video includes Poppy Delevingne showing her teeth as a true performer, MR-favorites, Karlie Kloss and Caroline Issa and the especially informative and comical musings of one Anna dello Russo. (Think: “I lost my boyfriend. I lost my husband but dress? I never lost a dress.”)

Of course, the video was done only in good humor and absolutely inflates the experience of having chosen liquid assets-over-dress, so head on over, watch the individual videos if you’d like…and then get involved! Any particular pieces you’ve loved and haven’t been able to forget since you first denied their right to be yours?

Yep, that is what a broken heart looks like. I called every Louis store in Canada and also some in Italy and the UK searching for a pair but it didn’t work out in my favor.

2009, Daffy’s, black looped knit gorilla coat that I still think about to this day.

The worst part, I returned it because my friends hated it.

The Stella McCartney suede, chunky-studded-heel ankle booties over two years ago. I don’t even want to think about it. It’s just that no other boot can ever fill that gap.
