Three things about snow days: 1. They are never as good as that movie, Snow Day made them out to be — especially in a city like New York, when just after the snow has started to blanket the city with a thick filmy layer of white flakes, dogs are peeing, cars are speeding and through your windows, you can hear loud shovels doing their work, making it seem like a 747 is about to land directly on your (my?) head.
Footwear, man. Footwear.
And 3. They can be boring depending on whether or not you were supposed to do something maximally fun before the climate mandated that there would be paralyzing snow. I am in that boat. Or was, rather, until I played and re-played this game brought forward by New York Magazine’s Vulture called “What is Leonardo DiCaprio Upset About?”
I thought I loved him more than any other woman could (I was even willing to make a concession in the case of his being a dead ringer for Jordan Belfort) but I failed miserably three times.
You play. Tell me how you do.
