Jeans! Jeans! Jeans!
The age-old question still stands: will we ever get sick of jeans?
I think not.
How is that even possible, right? Especially, I might add in the wake of a new denim story that just went live on Vogue.com, shot by Cass Bird and featuring four models, six times over, fashioning 30 different renditions of jeans, jackets and blouses for the entire month of April.
I’m particularly keen on two of Andrea Diaconu’s looks — the first is with that pair of white J Brand flare legs, worn with a pair of converse. Considering the sea of skinnies we’ve fallen victim to in the last, I don’t know, six years, that’s pretty fresh in that ingenious way that retro things are.
The second look includes a denim jacket and Dries van Noten trousers. Maintaining a neckerchief and the eggshell colored Converse, the look is styled vaguely similarly to the first one yet still evinces a completely different spirit, which, frankly, is what good style is all about, isn’t it?
Take a look at the story for yourself then come back and wax poetic on your own favorite looks, would you?
Oh, and, TGIF!
