A girl can literally never have too many sweaters.
Or fine, that’s a bit hyperbolic as one can, technically, “literally” have too many. When you start using kitchen cabinets as extra sweater drawers, and then have to hide pots and pans under your roommate’s bed in order to make room for the knits, you might have an excessive amount.
But pish-posh to all that, because I don’t cook anyway. In fact my culinary expertise lies in sweaters that I wouldn’t mind consuming if cashmere were actually edible.
There are various sweaters that every kitchen cabinet needs — the first one being oversized and slouchy, but crafted with such care that it remains undeniably elegant. Like this guy by Fine Collection: a knitwear company that happens to be French (!!!) and therefore has a real sense of savoire-faire when it comes to cashmere and chicness and all that is good.
Just in case someone ever asks me to pop on over to Monaco from Nice, I think a lightweight knit is equally as important to own should I get chilly on the trip via sailboat. And if someone happens to be staring into my eyes on said boat I’d be remiss if I didn’t have a second option that brings out their color (like this blue v-neck, for example. Blue is the color of cashmere love).
And speaking of cashmere, I’ll need a cardigan too, because if you give a mouse a cookie, he’s going to want a glass of milk. Or, alternately, he may ask why you literally keep all of your sweaters in the kitchen.
