“Why didn’t you fix your hair before getting on camera?” my partner-in-sex questioned as he began to watch this video, which, mind you, was shot on a morning just after I had fixed my hair for the first time in a long time.
“We’re through,” I retorted.
In case you couldn’t scramble together five whole minutes to watch and listen to the above video as shot by the cinema-whisperers at Barneys, chronicling a short conversation between Simon Doonan and myself for, what, the third time in the history of short videos?, here’s the rundown: his book, The Asylum, and my book, Man Repeller: Seeking Love, Finding Overalls (I guess his title is better than mine if only because syllables get annoying in due time), are out.
As such, we’re discussing the contents of said books and inconspicuously summoning your appearance at a signing that we will do in tandem on Tuesday of next week at The Grove in Los Angeles. From what Charlotte (a native Angeleno) tells me, it feels like a cross between Disney Land and Las Vegas so I, for one, am incredibly excited.
Well, are you?
Buy the books! (If you want to.)
