Edit Edits Well

Before Fashion Week started, representatives from uptown store–and when I say uptown I mean Manhattan’s nosebleed section–Edit approached me about working together in a small capacity for fashion week. The deal entailed a day chauffeured to shows and a couple pieces, free o’charge, from the store to wear and tear, wear and tear. As it happens, I live in the nosebleed section of Manhattan and was therefore quite well versed in this store’s happenings, think abundances of Nina Ricci, Proenza Schouler, Phillip Lim and most recently–Isabel Marant and Carven. And so I went and shopped, went and shopped. And while I still question whether or not you may care, here are a couple of the items I snagged alongside friend and blogger alike, Arielle of SomethingNavy. We had a bit of  pow wow over one very lush chocolate brown Proenza Schouler dress. She took it, I cried. Fine, not cried. But definitely questioned befriending her in an even more personal capacity, if only for borrowing purposes. JK! She’s awesome.

Exhibit A: Etoile Isabel Marant perfectly plaid blouse. Green, blue and sprinkled with love. It’s hard these days to come by a store still fully stocked with new Isabel merchandise and so I suggest you run not walk.
Exhibit B: Proenza Schouler hiking booties. Because, well, why not? Really. Why not? …But wait, there’s more. Remember the aforementioned chauffered car in question?
TA DA! I am belle of the ball. I know, I know.
