The real answer is the dress pictured underneath this text, though.
It's proper, it's prim, it's pretty, it's striped. I looked for this dress in my size for a little while. All the skinny schmucks had seemed to have purchased theirs already, and then like an angel from the heavens, it landed at my doorstep.
Beetlejuice inspired, Kate Middleton approved. Does this make any sense at all to you?
Her wedding is a mere 2 weeks away
...And not for anything, I think she could use an intervention from none other than the trend exploiter otherwise known as me.
Especially because I am so good at mastering the blogger pose. Crossed legs, pissed face, holding handbag on terrace. I'm not going anywhere so technically I don't need the purse.
More so because I invented the Man Repeller pose. Squinted eyes, crying mouth. Call me for a good time, baby.
I'm not sure what compelled me to pair the dress with
Supergas but I'm happy that I did.
Namely because I just recently learned Alexa Chung is their new spokesperson and Alexa Chung rocks my ankle socks. Tugs at my heart strings, is the viagra to my
lady boner. Sorry, I promised I wouldn't use that term in excess anymore.
I call this one:

Bless your heart for formulating an appropriate Man Repeller pose. I am getting a little tired of the fashion bloggers who stand pigeon toed, holding their elbow like they just bumped it, and staring at the ground as though they have NO IDEA that someone is photographing them (bonus points for pursed lips and mussed hair).

I think that dress made me hyperventilate a little. Love it. And I'm a frequent print-mixing offender whenever I can pull it off - and animal prints and stripes are two of my favorite things ever (sometimes also polka dots).
